Warm weather looks likely to start the period with temperatures getting up to the mid 20s in some parts of Ireland but then they will drop back to the High teens around the
start of June. Thereafter it will be quite thundery but warm and there will be heavy rain especially in more Southern and Eastern parts of Ireland. The North and the West may see more in the way of sunshine for the first week of June. Temperatures for June will be higher than they have been all year and the month will certainly have an overall average temperature of above average. In the normal run of things in June we would get temperatures during the day of between 15 and 18c but this year it looks like the temperature will be around 16 to 20c a lot of the time and in any
prolonged sunshine even higher. A lot of the weather in the next 30 days in Ireland is going to come from the South and East of the country so more of a continental feel to the weather even when it is wet but at the moment the first week of the period is looking very nice indeed and if you were to pinpoint the best periods of weather it would seem that May 23rd to May 27th will see a lot of warm sunny weather for Ireland and also June 7th to June 10th looks good at the moment.
